Grantham is situated 112 miles north of London with direct access onto the A1 trunk road. It is served in and east - west direction by the A52, and is only a few miles south of the A17.


by car:

travelling from the south

Travel north on the A1 until you arrive at the Colsterworth roundabout. Leave the roundabout in a northerly direction taking the outside lane, turn right onto the B6405, Ermine street, Cranwell road. Remain on this road until you come to the next roundabout, (A52, B6405, B1176 junction), take the second exit onto the A52, (Boston). Shortly after leaving the roundabout you will pass a vehicle testing station, and then a left turn where you rejoin the B6403. Continue until the first signposted left turn, take that turn, continue along the road and proceed down the hill. Alma Park Road will appear on your right hand side and B & W is situated along that road on the right.

travelling form the north

Take the first signposted Grantham exit from the A1, continue towards Great Gonerby. Approaching the brow of the hill take a left turn, and continue to the next tee junction where you should turn right onto the A607 towards Grantham. Continue until you pass the hospital on your right and then turn left at the next traffic signals. Continue along the road in the direction of Londonthorpe, passing Belton Park Golf Club and Kontak Engineering to a right turn (situated on a left hand turn in the road). You now enter Alma Park Road and B & W is situated on your left.

travelling from the east

Take the A17 from Sleaford. Passing RAF Cranwell on your right, turn left onto the B6403, signposted Ancaster, and continue through Ancaster. Cross the traffic signals and continue on the B6403 south. After passing a left turn to Welby take the next right towards Londonthorpe. Pass through the village and down the incline, shortly after rounding a sharp left turn you approach a fork in the road. Take the left fork into Alma Park Road and B & W is situated on your left.

travelling from the west

Follow the A52 trunk road towards Grantham, descend the hill towards the town and pass under the railway bridge. Continue across the roundabout to the traffic signals, turn right and then left at the next signals onto the A607 Sleaford road. Continue onwards passing through three sets of traffic signals and turn right at the fourth set, continue along that road in the direction of Londonthorpe. Passing Belton Park Golf Club then Kontak Engineering to a right turn ( situated on a left hand turn in the road), you now enter Alma Park Road and B & W is situated on your left.

by rail:

The east coast main line (GNER) serves Grantham with express services from both London and the North, including Scotland. Visitors travelling by rail will be collected subject to us being advised of your eta. Travellers from the East and West are also catered for with trains from Boston in the East and Birmingham and onwards in the West.

by air:

Travellers by air can be collected from the East Midlands International Airport, or Humberside Airport, both are situated about one hour travelling time from the town.
