Working in close partnership with Gang-Nail Systems, South African-based International Truss Systems (ITS) offers a comprehensive range of products, software and consultancy services to the engineered timber industry.
With offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, ITS serves the vast South African territory through a network of licensed truss manufacturers, providing punched metal connector plates, components and timber engineering software. The only nail plate system company in South Africa to have received the prestigious SABS ISO 9001 quality management award, ITS’ product range also includes an open web engineered floor joist system.
Software is an integral part of ITS’ business with three packages now on offer: Tri-Design 3000 — a structural timber engineering software package developed for the specification, design and manufacture of prefabricated timber roof trusses; Tri-Mate – a fully interactive software package designed to help the measurement and specification of building projects and material lists; and Tri-Ceil – an innovate ceiling layout, optimisation and costing program.
